For Vampire Weekend’s latest video, Giving up the Gun, the band combines the appearances of the RZA, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil’ John and Joe Jonas in one bad ass tennis tournament. Click here to watch the video.
Last year for April Fool’s day, Brad Gross (Billy Gross’ brother) played a pretty gnarly prank on his mother. One of the mail reason’s I’m posting this is so you can see how Billy grew up and where he get’s his insanities from. Also, I wonder if Brad has any balls left after he scratched them all of during this prank. The only thing missing from this video is a Billy cameo.

Joseph Frank Keaton, known professionally as Buster Keaton (October 4, 1895 – February 1, 1966), was an American comic actor and filmmaker. He was best known for his silent films, in which his trademark was physical comedy with a consistently stoic, deadpan expression, earning him the nickname “The Great Stone Face”. [1]
Keaton was recognized as the seventh-greatest director of all time by Entertainment Weekly.[2] In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked Keaton the 21st-greatest male actor of all time. Critic Roger Ebert wrote of Keaton’s “extraordinary period from 1920 to 1929, [when] he worked without interruption on a series of films that make him, arguably, the greatest actor-director in the history of the movies.”[1] A 2002 worldwide poll by Sight & Sound ranked Keaton’s The General as the 15th best film of all time. Three other Keaton films received votes in the magazine’s survey: Our Hospitality, Sherlock, Jr., and The Navigator.[3]
I kinda feel for him too. Though i’m on the computer most of my days, certain technologies are on a right off list as to how much care i put into them. I mean one of the main turnoffs for having a hooked up surround sound system is all the mixture of bullshit that you gotta fuck around with. Three controllers and one HD/Blueray screen later, you find yourself out of batteries and wondering why the most beautiful movies you’ve seen look like they’re shot on your mom’s camcorder now. Let my eyes adjust? Naw i’m good.
Dire Straits perform Money For Nothing live with Sting, Eric Clapton, Elton John, & Phil Collins at the Prince’s Trust Concert, Wembley Arena, 1986. Walt, where you at?
It wasn’t only his clothes, but his direction and presentation of his collection that made Alexander McQueen a true visionary. He made the word show mean something in the fashion statement, bringing a breath of fresh art into fashion. He could walk the line between costume and stylistically desired, with an end product that makes too much sense in all its choas to NOT like. Above all I love the range of styles he was willing to explore with the sheer devotion to make sure that it is communicated clearly. Tis a shame. R.I.P.
“Just Another Day” | Mike Giant & Derick Montez from Justin Gallagher on Vimeo.
Filmmaker Justin Gallagher fills us in on his latest video, a piece featuring both Derick Montez and Mike Giant, painting some roll downs on Haight St. in San Francisco. Definitely another nicely executed piece by Justin, with tunes provided courtesy of Minotaur Shock (Breaking Away). Enjoy! (via)
