Stumbled across Ben Turnbull’s gritty pieces of nostalgia today and had to give it the BEAST stamp. I love the unfinished engraving technique alone, but the fact that they are of weapons on what looks to be schoolhouse tables gives it that extra umph that really sets it apart. Mr. Turnbull’s pieces are currently on display at Eleven gallery in London. If in the area, i’m sure they’re all the more interesting to see in person.
