9/29/2009 - Beast: Josie Davis

Josie Davis is a good friend, and little did we know that she made these amazing, vintage inspired pieces. We spotted her at last Sunday’s Bizzare Market and were simply amazed. Josie is a graduate of the VCU Sculpture Department and draws her inspiration from her other love, belly dancing. All of her necklaces are made from recycled components, most of which come from retired belly dance costumes and costume jewelry. The imagery used throughout the line was inspired by an old box full of skeleton keys found in the crawls space of her grandmother’s attic. To contact Josie, click here.
