Put together by artist and friend, Michelle Lopez, Farmcart is a sandwich lunch cart/ delivery service providing for artists in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. We founded the cart on our own desire to have local, organic sandwiches delivered directly to our studio doors. As a result, farm freshness will come to you in an eco-conscious, affordable manner. Now don’t be a cinic and think your gonna get some jail food, they got a descent collection of edibles with a range of delicious flavors. From the $3 sandwich called “Water,” that sports Feta and fragrant mint leaves between two ruby-red triangular slices of watermelon(Not your average sandwich), to the heftier ” Bird,” which at $6.50 has Turkey, honey-glazed and smoked, paired with a young Manchego (sheep-milk cheese) on a bed of avocado and watercress lightly seasoned with lemon and cayenne, all buried in Sullivan St. Bakery’s thick, crusty and square Multi-Grain Pullman.
