Vanilla
Vanilla Bicycles is based out of Portland, Oregon. They make some amazing, hand-made bikes with extreme attention to detail and customization. BEAST: Mark Evans
Mark Evans does some amazing shit. He takes large sheets of leather and etches out high contrast images on them with knives, picks, and random tools. It’s really kind of insane the detail he gets. But.. I think he’s probably kinda cocky and has bad taste in clothes. See for yourself…

Song of the Day
In conjunction with the newly released video for 11th Dimension, which sports a sprinkle of my simple pleasure(ie lazers, 80s clothing, keytars), we decided to make it song of the day. I gotta admit I’ve been sleepin on this album, considering it came out in October and this is the first song I heard, but I have a feeling there are some silent bangers on there. Preview / Buy that shit...

Warhol's Greatness
Recognize these greats? Well if you don’t you’ve been living under a terribly boring rock, cuz these are some candid shots of some of the greatest athletes of the 20th century. These photos, taken by the one and only ANDY WARHOL, are the reference shots for the recently stolen set of prints. Peep the full set of photos HERE … or end the decade off right, and catch the last day...

Pendleton X Opening Ceremony
In 1863, traveling down the Atlantic seaboard, crossing the Isthmus of Panama on a burro, and sailing up the Pacific coast was a grueling four-month passage. Yet for Thomas Kay, a young English weaver, it was a dream come true. An old hand at sea voyages, he had already crossed the Atlantic years earlier to work at east coast textile mills. With skills honed, he was now headed to an area...

Song of the Day
Phantogram is a duo out of Saratoga Springs, New York. Although the probably live in the woods, I’m guessing that’s what makes this amazing, steady and head bobbing friendly sound they produce. Phantogram is Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel, their North American EP is available now. Thanks Doddie! Phantogram - When I’m Small Phantogram - Running From the Cops

Yakkay, a Danish based company, has taken a very unique approach to helmet design. Take a well made carbon fiber shell and simply ad a well designed cover to it. This evening, should I wear my houndstooth or seersucker?

Save Print
Do this: take some of that Christmas money that you just got, go out to a news stand, pick out three magazines that you’ve always wanted to subscribe to, and fucking subscribe to them. Then, enjoy flipping through each page, glossy or matte, smell the ink, look at the detail in each page, look at the richness of the photography, and actually read the articles. There just so happens to be...

Christmas is the breast... i mean best!
Currently watching the classic National Lampoon’s Vacation, and loving it for the millionth time. Chevy Chase couldn’t be any more perfect for that dad role. Aside from that though there’s also the ever so lovely Nicolette Scorsese. Yes that’s right, the smokin hot employee at the mall that just knows exactly what you need for Christmas. Ugh. Don’t remember?...

NYE in NYC
Talk about last minute, with Christmas here and still no plans, there was some masterplanning to be done, and thats what JC and Othelo did. Countdown the new year with the crew of local tastemakers. NO waiting in line for a drink, NO dress code, and NO Jersey Shore folk splashing their gel in your whiskey. Just straight up good people, good music, and good times.
